The Cocktail Napkin Edit

A cocktail napkin is perfect for holding cold drinks, serving as a substitute to a coaster, or holding a canapé, but where did this party essential get it’s reputation. Napkins most likely originated in China in the Tang Dynasty but didn’t really take on common use until the Romans made cloth napkins part of their dining. The cocktail napkin really made its appearance around the prohibition when the advent of the cocktail began to take hold.

Cocktail napkins makes a good thing (cocktails) even better. These drink accessories don’t just function as a means to protect your surfaces, they help to set the tone for your party, adding a touch of sophistication or whimsey and matching any mood. We rounded up our favorite cocktail napkins to help you discover the set that will liven up your next happy hour.
